Instead of writing about Pattaya real estate this week we are going to try to provide some helpful information to those who may be new to Pattaya as well as those of you who have lived n the area for a while.
Sometimes finding phone numbers or other contact information for businesses and government agencies in Pattaya can be difficult. Many of the websites about Pattaya have not been updated for a while and the information is no longer current. Other times just when you think you have found what you are looking for from Google the link turns out to be a forum where someone asked about the same information three years ago.
With that said, we will try to provide some useful information for Pattaya residents and tourists alike. Lets start with some important emergency information, but hopefully you will never have to use it.
Pattaya Police

The Pattaya City Police station is located on Soi 9, Pattaya Beach Road (next to Central Festival). If you have ever gotten a ticket in Pattaya there is a good chance you have been here.
Their phone numbers are: 038 424-186, 420-802-5 and 082-799-9111. You can also use the Thailand Police Emergency Hotline: That number is 191.
The Pattaya Tourist Police have a station located at the bottom of Pratumnak Hill just south of the overpass on Pratumnak Road.
The Tourist Police can be very helpful as they have volunteers from many different countries and speak a lot of languages.They can be reached at 038 414 669, 038 425 937 and 038 429 371. They also have a hotline number, which is 1155.

There is also a large police station in Banglamung and their numbers are 038 221 800 and 038 221 801.
It is a good idea to stop by the local police station where you live and pick up their number. You never know when you might need it and having it at hand can be a lifesaver in case of an emergency.
There are many small police substations in places like Huay Yai, Jomtien, East Pattaya and other parts of Pattaya so be sure to look for the one that is closest to you.

Hopefully you will never have to use any of these numbers and honestly if your condition is not too life threatening it might be faster to have someone drive you to a hospital close by as we all know the traffic here does not seem to get out of the way for emergency vehicles.

You can also of course call the police emergency number 191 or call the Emergency Medical Institute of Thailand hotline number 1669 but you will need to have someone who speaks Thai with you.
As with the police it is a good idea to know where the closest hospital or clinic is. You never know when you might have an accident at home or need some emergency medical assistance; valuable time can be lost by trying to find the closest hospital.
This can be especially important if your house or condo is in East Pattaya, Huay Yai or other of the more rural areas outside Central Pattaya.
